Why we built it

Most online PDF tools upload your files to their servers and limit how big they can be. We wanted a tool that keeps documents private and still handles big files, so everything happens on your own device.

How it works

When you open the page, your browser downloads a small compressor, about 1 MB. It finds pictures stored sharper than needed, resizes them, and repacks the rest of the file. Text and drawings stay sharp. The compressor is written in Rust and runs as WebAssembly, a fast and safe way to run programs in a browser.
